Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union

Financial stress is prevalent in our society now more than ever, as debt loads continue to grow and savings rates remain negative. But there is hope, consumers who take the time to create realistic budgets and savings plans can really improve their financial situation and ease stress. This is why we are spending the time with each of the "Healthy Challenge" to conduct a "Financial Health Check-up."

We provide a similar service free of charge to all of our members through the Balance: Financial Fitness Program. Anyone in Montgomery County can join the credit union, just visit www.mafcu.org or call 301-944-1800 to get started.

Weight Watchers

More physicians recommend Weight Watchers than any other weight loss plan. It's safe, effective and it works!

Weight Watchers has four essential components to lose weight safely and sensibly: eat wisely, increase physical activity/move more, get support, and changing behaviors related to food. Meetings provide real life Insights to help you achieve your goals, and optional online interactive resources help you step by step.

You choose the plan that fits you best. The Flex Plan works on a Point system. The Core plan offers choices from a list of wholesome, nutritious foods. You eat regular meals instead of pre-packaged meals. Plans are flexible and adjustable to today's lifestyle and provide you with the tools you need to lose weight and keep it off.

At Weight Watchers, you'll get all the support and tools you need. Get started now! For more information on locations and meeting times, call 800-651-600 or visit www.weightwatchers.com.
